A few months ago, a major extension project for the well-known Dolomitengolf Hotel & Spa began on the golf course in Lavant near Lienz. The new, multi-storey part of the hotel comprises 29 suites with a total of 60 beds. In addition to the construction of a large indoor swimming pool featuring a new fitness and wellness area, the restaurant, kitchen and storage rooms were also enlarged.
The client, Hamacher Hotels & Resorts, attached great importance to keeping the added value within the region and therefore went for a timber construction. As regional building materials, CLTPLUS and BSH also reinforce the local economy thanks to our excellent cooperation with the Holzbau Unterluggauer timber construction company who chose us as their supplier. Around 1,500 m³ of solid wood was used in this project. A project of this size with a very short delivery time also requires precise logistical planning. For example, over 34 truckloads were delivered directly to the construction site between December and February.

We successfully completed one of our first major CLTPLUS projects for the well-known hotel group Hamacher Hotels & Resort with Holzbau Unterluggauer from our region, who are a regular customer. We’re delighted that both the client and the Unterluggauer company placed their trust in us for a project with such high standards, right after the start of production at our Steinfeld plant.
